Exclusion of cooperation with the AfD
On May 28, 2025, the student parliament of Aachen University of Applied Sciences passed the following resolution:
"The student body considers the values represented by the AfD to be incompatible with and contradictory to the values of the student body. Hatred and incitement have no place in our society—and especially not on our campuses. Therefore, the organs of the student body are prohibited from any active cooperation with the AfD and its representatives. The university is called upon to follow the student body in this step. The AStA is called upon to carry out anti-fascist educational work."

Through the Landes-ASten-Treffen NRW and the Free Association of Student Bodies (fzs), we work together with other AStAs to advocate for stronger representation of the social, cultural, political, and economic interests of student bodies vis-à-vis universities, policymakers, and the public.
We explicitly support many of the demands formulated there – and we provide the most important statements here for you.
