University Politics
The Department of Higher Education Policy focuses primarily on the topics of "Teaching, Study Reform, and Study Structure," "Political Education," and "Networking." The area of "Teaching, Study Reform, and Study Structure" addresses the implementation of the Bologna Reform, improving study conditions, and the accreditation of degree programs at our university. It also provides support in reading and understanding examination regulations. Life at our university is governed by state laws, such as the Higher Education Act, and federal laws, like the Framework Act for Higher Education. To advocate for improvements in these laws, the "Networking" area collaborates at the state level in the State AStA Meetings and at the federal level in the Free Association of Student Unions, where current issues are discussed with other student bodies.
